George Bush and his adminsitration are likely to enjoy a month of little hindrance and general success during the last days of July and through August 2005. Things will shift noticeably in September. (7/31/05)

Judge John Roberts will be confirmed as a Supreme Court justice between September 20 and September 25, 2005 or possibly even up to a week earlier. The only stressful days of the confirmation process will be in very early September, through September 10. (7/21/05)

Although the current media scrutiny of Karl Rove may begin to diminish between 7/14 and 7/16, likely resuming in September 2005, the overall feeling of burden, deceptions revealed, and of being embroiled in difficulties will remain strong for Rove through at least January 2006. (7/14/05)

The Bush administration will seem under seige in July 2005, through July 22, at which point events will begin to move rapidly and the situation will begin to quickly shift. Other breaking events may bump Rove/Plamegate off the radar briefly and/or this scandal may move suddenly into high gear. From late March through most of May 2004, Bush will take a much more aggressive stance, both in the presidential campaign and militarily. Some amount of success militarily is possible, leading to improved popularity for Bush and a brief bounce in the polls. From October 24 through November 14, 2003, and most especially November 5 - 13, there is a potential for upsetting, burdensome, and sorrowful experiences that are likely to impact sections of the US population, including physical damage to the country itself. The same energy was in effect between September 17 through October 6, during Hurricane Isabel. Currently the California wildfires are manifesting this energy. The day following the speech (1/29) may bring some measure of praise from the press, but by Thursday (1/30) the level of deception and smoke and mirrors will become apparent. Senator Trent Lott's current stubborn hold on the Senate leadership may rapidly deteriorate between 1/20/03 and 2/17/03. In any event, this will be a very stressful time for him, with upsetting events unfolding daily and little feeling of support from his colleagues. I make this prediction very cautiously, because I am using very limited data. There is a possibility that the the sniper shooting of 10/22/02 will be the last. I do not see a repeat of the strong pattern that I have noticed since early October that has coincided with the grief, upset, and mobilization that follows the attacks. However, there is a far weaker version of this particular planetary aspect on Friday, October 25, from about 8 PM onwards. This could indicate an incident if the sniper is not yet apprehended. It could also indicate a disappointment in the investigation or disturbing news during those hours. (10/23/02)

After a hugely successful military campaign to oust the Taliban from Afghanistan, the military got bogged down in the final battle at Tora Bora and the ongoing and fruitless search for Osama bin Laden and Muhammed Omar.

The War on Terrorism will have several sudden and unexpected shifts betweeen 11/10 and 12/6/01. This energy is particularly strong and violent from 11/24 through 11/27. This may suggest a sudden shift in coalition alliances or other sudden changes, upsets, or attacks. Allies may act independently, causing sudden changes.(11/4/01)

After 11/10 events began to move very quickly in the war in Afghanistan, with Kabul and other areas falling far more quickly than expected. The Northern Alliance ignored Bush's insistance that they not enter Kabul after its capture. Between 11/24 and 11/27/01 a surprise uprising occured in a prison at Mazar-e- Sharif, which turned into a ferocious battle. Several hundred Taliban and their foreign supporters were killed.

Tremedous upheaval will continue in Pakistan through November 27, 2001. Thereafter, the turmoil and rebellion will dissipate. Days of greatest concern are: November 4-5, November 12-13, November 21-22, and November 25-26. (10/28/01)

A period of potential grief, crisis and difficulty for the US will occur between October 19 and 26, 2001. These will be very significant days in the War on Terrorism. Mercury will make a station on the US Saturn and the Ascendant of the World Trade Center attack chart. Mars and the Sun will trigger the Saturn/Pluto opposition.(10/4/01)

The frightening consequences of the anthrax attack grew significantly during this period, with several more people infected, two further casualties, and an increasing number of locations contaminated. In Afghanistan, an important leader of the Northern Alliance was assassinated.

The likely timeframe of aggressive, military retaliation for the recent terrorist atrocities is between 9/20 and 10/2/01, with continuing possibility of military activity through October. (9/12/01)

The period from 9/20 through 10/2 saw a significant build-up of military preparedness in and around Central Asia, but the actual military activity in Afghanistan began on October 10.

During September President Bush aggressively called for a War on Terrorism in response to the terrorist attacks of 9/11. As Commander-in-Chief he called forth the military and began an assault on the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan. By the end of October the country was mired in confusion about anthrax bioterrorism, and the military progress in Afghanistan was not as dramatic as expected.

Between August 10 and August 13, 2001, Bush's vacation may be interrupted by a minor crisis. He may actually have to do some work on his "working" vacation. Mars will return to oppose Bush's Uranus, currently squared by his progressed Ascendant.(8/6/01)

Since late last summer, the progressed Mars in the Israeli chart has been in a square aspect to natal Uranus. The explosive nature of this configuration is now being activated by the transits of Mars and Uranus. Soon Jupiter will join this inflammatory mix. This dangerous aspect continues to build in intensity until approximately March 2002. However, it is the powerful planetary activation in the next few months that poses the real prospect of increasing violence in the Middle East(3/29/01).
Particularly volatile and dangerous will be the last few days of March and the first two weeks of April when transiting Mars (23-24 Sagittarius) and transiting Uranus (23 Aquarius) are both activating the Israeli progressed Mars (23 Virgo). Transiting Uranus during this period will also be square to the Israeli Sun (23 Taurus). Another exceptionally perilous time is likely to be June and early July, when first Mars, then Jupiter, then Uranus each cross the 23-24 degree area of their respective signs, again setting off the progressed Mars square to natal Uranus. Virtually the entire period from late March through July will see intensified conflict and tension due to the station of Uranus at 24 degrees Aquarius, but the noted dates are likely to be particularly precarious.
